well, i'm still alive but i think i freaked her father out trying to talk to him about marriage.

he wanted me to consider her age and didn't seem to think i was very serious about it. but, i'm trying to look at it rationally, because i know that they just met me. as far as they're concerned, her and i just met because they didn't know.

no offense but are you serious about this? you did this in college too. what's the difference?

we just moved in together, so we have plenty of other things to focus on right now.

i talked to mom about it a little bit, but i didn't tell them i already have the ring. i know i wanted to wait until we were together at least six months, so i was going to bring it up to them after i talked to her dad.

you should really talk to mom again.
